Ellen Anderson, MA, CCC-SLP
Ellen is a licensed speech-language pathologist in New Jersey. She holds a certification through the New Jersey Department of Education and a national certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCCs). She has provided speech and language services in school-based, home-based, and private practice settings.
Ellen received her Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University, along with Bachelors degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Psychology from the University of Rochester. Her professional interests are both receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, working with children with Autism, and articulation/phonological disorders. Ellen is PECS Level 1 trained.
In addition to her love for all things pediatric speech therapy, Ellen plays both classical violin and traditional Irish fiddle/other styles. She plays in an Irish duo with her father who sings and plays the guitar. She is also a former champion Irish dancer who still likes to dance for fun. She enjoys going for runs at the boardwalk, reservoir, and doing local races.
